This is an original Film Booking Offices of America Lobby Card (11×14) for the James Leo Meehan silent drama, THE DEVIL’S TRADE MARK (1928) starring Belle Bennett, William V. Mong, Ena Gregory, and William Bakewell. Bennett and Mong play a pair of veteran crooks who decide to “go straight’ when their daughter is born. But when the daughter reaches maturity, Mong tries to indoctrinate her into a life of crime. However, the daughter begins to stray from the “family business” when she falls in love with the son of a wealthy manufacturer. The card shows actors Belle Bennett and William Blakewell. A caption on this card reads: “Tom Benton was too up-to-date to see what a fool he seemed.” This original scene card is in very fine condition.
