With both humor and suspense, this film tells the story of a storm that causes the power lines to break and touch the ground—drawing millions of man-eating earthworms out of the earth and into town. Some critics thought this movie was so “bad” that it was actually “good.” Indeed, it was one of the films shown and subjected to witty derision on Mystery Science Theater 3000.
