Original AVCO Embassy Pictures Insert Poster for the Joe Dante seminal horror classic and a perennial favorite of werewolf-movie fans, THE HOWLING (1981)—starring Dee Wallace, Patrick Macnee, Dennis Dugan, and Christopher Stone. Wallace plays a TV news anchorwoman who, after being traumatized while covering a story about a serial killer, seeks comfort at a new-age spa run by a doctor played by Macnee. All the patrons of this exclusive spa turn out to be werewolves, however. No spoilers here, as this is certainly a must see for horror fans, but the film also offers some good laughs and fine special effects from the era before computers did it all. This insert poster is in very fine plus condition – never folded, colors vivid. A great design from the era. One sheet posters are around, but finding an insert poster for this title is not as easy. A great example.

This is an original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the sci-fi comedy spoof, AMAZON WOMEN ON THE MOON (1987) starring Rosanna Arquette, Michelle Pfeiffer and Arsenio Hall. Directors Joe Dante, Carl Gottlieb, Peter Horton, John Landis, and Robert Weiss team up in this 1950s sci-fi spoof, interspersed with short comedy sketches, most of which parody late-night television and the low-budget movies one finds there. This film is loopy, silly comedy anarchy at its best. This original one sheet poster is rolled and in very fine condition. Never folded!
