This film is the story of three unemployed movie stars banished from silent-era Hollywood who are then solicited by a poor Mexican villager to come to her town for a “job.” Through a series of misunderstandings, the oblivious actors find themselves defending the Mexican villagers from actual banditos. Also starring Alfonso Arau as the comic villain El Guapo, and with a plethora of cameos and early appearances by Jon Lovitz, Phil Hartman, Joe Mantegna, and the like, John Landis’ comedy is a little all-over-the-place, but still hilarious. This film is loopy, silly comedy anarchy at its best. This original one sheet poster is rolled and in very fine condition. Never folded!
