Original Warner Brothers “Linen Finish” Scene Lobby Card (11×14) for Lothar Mendes and Lewis Seiler war drama, INTERNATIONAL SQUADRON (1941) starring Ronald Reagan, Olympe Bradna, James Stephenson, and Joan Perry. In the succession of epics about Britain’s Royal Air Force, this installment has a cocky American pilot (Reagan) who joins the squadron, creates romantic havoc with his buddies’ fiancées, but finally grows up after realizing his conduct is partly to blame for the deaths of two of his companions. In this “linen finish” scene lobby card, the future President stands in the middle of the blitz in London in World War II. This rare lobby card is in only “good” condition with some staining in the bottom border and cracks in the linen finish.

Original Film Classics Scene Lobby Card (11×14) (1947 Realart Re-Release) for the Lothar Mendes fantasy comedy, THE MAN WHO COULD WORK MIRACLES (1936) starring Roland Young, Ralph Richardson, and Edward Chapman. Based on an H. G. Wells short story, this film tells the story of George (Young), while vigorously asserting the impossibility of miracles, suddenly discovers that he can perform them. Shown on the card are, from left to right, actors Bernard Nedell (we think), Ben Welden, Wally Patch and Wallace Lupino. In the inset photo is Roland Young. Average used condition, very good. No missing paper. This card was a theater-used card. Some creasing and a small tear at the upper right corner. See photo.
