Original United Artists Scene Lobby Card (11×14) for the Tim Whelan romantic comedy, THE DIVORCE OF LADY X (1938) starring Merle Oberon, Laurence Olivier, Binnie Barnes, and Ralph Richardson. This short and sweet British comedy tells the story of a barrister (Olivier) who falls in love with a woman (Oberon) he mistakenly thinks his client will soon be divorcing. Oberon is delightful in her role, and there is wonderful on-screen chemistry between Oberon and Olivier. This original scene lobby card of Richardson and Olivier is in very good condition.

Lucky for Prudence, a card shark (Sullivan) she beat in New Orleans comes to her rescue. Some critics complained bitterly about the corny screenplay, but Colbert’s portrayal of a strong and independent woman is unusual for a western of the mid-1950s. This original Belgian poster is in very good condition, with some rather hard edge damage at the upper border area. But the image on the poster is fine>

Original Kino International 1978 Re-release One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Ludwig Berger, Michael Powell, and Tim Whelan classic family fantasy, THE THIEF OF BAGDAD (1940) starring Conrad Veidt, Sabu, June Duprez, and John Justin. Produced by the legendary Alexander Korda, this exceptional British film has been described as one of the best fantasy films of all time. Raoul Walsh originally brought this story to the silent screen in 1924 starring Douglas Fairbanks, but this version was in glorious Technicolor with some of the most outstanding special effects of the time. Indeed, the film won the Academy Award for Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Special Effects. This truly magical film still entertains audiences today—young and old. This 1978 re-release poster is the work of artist Bruce Emmett who is known for his ability to produce new illustrations with a vintage feel. This rerelease one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
