This high camp comedy utilizes the process of puppetry (actually marionettes) to tell a satirical, funny and highly sexual tale of anti-terrorist American agents infiltrating the palaces of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il in an attempt to stop the annihilation of the world through propaganda and nuclear weapons. If that plot description sounds crazy, it is and IT’S FUNNY! The use of puppets in the film is highly reminiscent of the “Super-Marionation” techniques created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson in such cult 1960s programming as FIREBALL XL5 and THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO.
