After the death of M, Sir James Bond is called back from retirement to stop SMERSH. His ultimate plan dictates that every agent will be named Bond. Intended to be the ultimate spy spoof, it is both a satire of Bond movies and even more a satire of the “cool” and “hip” films of the late 1960s. Some critics have described it as a screwball comedy with a touch of British absurdity. This very rare style B advance one sheet poster is folded and in very good plus condition. There are a number of pinholes in each corner, some small tears from pulled pinholes, and minor staining in the lower left corner.

full-losthighway-1sh-cons

Original October Films One Sheet Poster (27×40) for the David Lynch psychological thriller, LOST HIGHWAY (1997) starring Bill Pullman, Patricia Arquette, Robert Blake, Robert Loggia, and Balthazar Getty. This fantastic blend of weirdness, violence, and erotica tells the strange story of a jazz saxophonist (Pullman) who is framed for the murder of his wife and sent to prison, where he inexplicably morphs into a young auto mechanic (Getty) and begins a new life. The film appears to be a very stylish realization of a nightmare; although, it is shot like a film-noir with Arquette as the femme fatale. Some have dismissed LOST HIGHWAY as just a movie about schizophrenia, while others have searched for deeper and hidden meanings. This original single-sided one sheet poster is rolled and in near mint condition. Absolutely authentic.

This is an original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the short documentary, TURKEY AU-GO-GO. One of the oddest posters in our inventory, this poster is for a documentary short made by Universal in the mid-sixties (probably). The film seems to be about bellydancing discos in Turkey. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.

THE DOOM GENERATION (1995) 16619

full.doomgeneration 1sA

Original Trimark Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Gregg Araki cult comedy classic, THE DOOM GENERATION (1995) starring James Duval, Rose McGowan, and Johnathon Schaech. This wildly entertaining sex-murder romp is the story of two “troubled teens” (Duval and McGowan) who pick up an adolescent bi-sexual drifter (Schaech). The trio embarks on a sex and violence-filled journey through a surreal and psychotic Los Angeles. Written and directed by Asian-American Gregg Araki, this road trip to hell is deliberately trashy, satirizing decadent America’s love of consumption and surface beauty. Fueled by a soundtrack of mid-90′s alternative bands, this dark film offers a bleak but humorous look at the pop generation culture of its time. This one sheet poster was originally folded and is in good condition with some slight defects.
