Original 20th Century-Fox Insert Poster (14x36). Folded. Very fine condition.
Original 20th Century-Fox Insert Poster (14x36) for the Jean Negulesco romantic comedy, HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE (1953) starring Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, and William Powell. This film is a delightful tale of three models (Grable, Monroe, and Bacall), who pool their resources to rent an expensive penthouse apartment in New York, each one hoping to catch a wealthy husband. This story had been made before, in the thirties, as THE GREEKS HAD A WORD FOR IT. We also have that one sheet on this website. This time around it was Fox's first Cinemascope picture and also one of the first films to be recorded in stereo. It wasn't released until after THE ROBE (1953) --in fact the second Cinemascope film but the first one released. This original insert poster is folded and in very fine condition with only minor edge wear and a bend in the bottom left corner.
