This is an original 20th Century-Fox One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Irving Cummings musical biography, MY GAL SAL (1942) starring Rita Hayworth and Victor Mature. This film chronicles the early life of gay nineties-era songwriter Paul Dresser (Mature) and his love-hate relationship to popular songstress Sally Elliott (Hayworth). Even though the plot is silly, Fox gave this film the full Technicolor treatment and the songs and dance are beautifully filmed. The poster has become one of the better Hayworth film posters. This original one sheet poster is in very fine condition. Linen backed.
