A remarkable artifact of the U.S. motion picture industry, this extremely large and rare exterior billboard displays a huge image of the greatest sex goddess-star the world has ever known - Marilyn Monroe. This suspenseful story of love, betrayal, and murder is set against the magnificent backdrop of Niagara Falls. While Monroe is sexy and seductive garbed in a most revealing wardrobe, she demonstrates convincingly that she can also play serious roles. Indeed, this is the only movie in which her character dies in the end. Joseph Cotten gives a typically impressive performance as the abusive and unstable husband, and Jean Peters, who took the role originally meant for Anne Baxter, delivers an excellent performance as a totally unsuspecting honeymooner who inadvertently gets caught up in Monroe/Cotten intrigue. This original twenty-four sheet poster is linen-backed on three panels and is in very fine condition. This billboard is extremely large -- nine by twenty feet.
