THE GODFATHER: PART II (1974) 2272

Original Paramount Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41). Good condition, folded.

Additional DescriptionMore Details
This is an original Paramount Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Francis Ford Coppola epic crime drama, THE GODFATHER: PART II (1974)—starring Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, and Diane Keeton. Considered by many to be one of the best movies of all time and certainly the best gangster movie of all time, this Coppola masterpiece won six academy awards including Best Picture, Best Director to Coppola, and Best Supporting Actor to Robert DeNiro, much of his dazzling performance being spoken in Italian with English subtitles. This beautifully crafted film presents two parallel storylines of the slow moral decline of Michael Corleone in late 1950’s (excellently portrayed by Al Pacino who was nominated for Best Actor) and flashbacks of the rise of Michael’s father Vito Corleone (in an Oscar-winning performance by DeNiro) from his youth in Sicily to the founding of the Corleone family in New York. The beautiful cinematography by Gordon Willis used a tint in the flashback sequences giving them a softer, richer look than the very sharp image of the contemporary story. This authentic one sheet is in theater-used good condition and has one additional fold. We recommend linen backing for this poster and we have priced it accordingly. Ask us about restorations.

Additional DescriptionMore Details

The charming story is about two shrewd outlaws who rob trains and banks, finally deciding to flee to Bolivia. This highly individual and stylistic western was the smash hit of 1969 because of the pairing of Newman and Redford. The outstanding screenplay by William Goldman had just the right mix of comedy, wit, and adventure. Much credit should also be given to director Hill and cinematographer Conrad Hall, who gave the film a great look of the “Old West.” The film was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. The film won four Oscars (the most of any film that year), including Best Screenplay to Goldman. This original Italian Duofolio is in very fine condition.

Additional DescriptionMore Details
This is an original Miramax Films One Sheet Poster (27x40) for the Quentin Tarantino crime thriller, RESERVOIR DOGS (1992)—starring Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, and Chris Penn. This original one sheet poster is in very fine - never folded - condition. Please note that the size - measured exactly at 27x40 - confirm that this is the original sheet.
