Presented in a documentary style, this film depicts Le Mans, France's oldest automotive endurance test — the race goes on for 24 hours on a roughly 14 kilometer course through the French countryside. Steve McQueen plays the Grand Prix driver who passionately proclaims, "When you're racing—it's life." McQueen was an experienced driver and actually does all of his own driving in the racing sequences. This original one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
