Grant, Saint, Mason and Carroll are simply marvelous in their intricate roles, and, aside from Grant, it's hard to tell whether they're good or bad until the film has dragged the viewer feet-first into the complex plot. This is one of the trickiest of Hitchcock films and his last film with Cary Grant. The famous finale on Mount Rushmore and the crop duster buzzing Cary Grant are among the most famous Hitchcock screen moments. The film was produced by Ernest Lehman and has an unforgettable score by Bernard Herrmann.
