Original Warner Bros. One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Michael Curtiz and William Keighley adventure epic, THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD (1938)—starring Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland. Fresh from his overnight success in CAPTAIN BLOOD (1935), Flynn was the archetypal Robin Hood; indeed, the young and athletic actor insisted on doing most of his own stunts, including perilous leaps and the scaling of high walls. Flynn was surrounded with some of the best character actors of the day. This film was one of the first color productions, and the entire movie is bathed in astounding Technicolor. The lavish sets and the rich score by Erich Korngold also add greatly to the production quality of the film. Many critics still consider this one of the greatest adventure films ever produced, and THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD remains to this day one of the most popular films of all time. This original one sheet poster is in very good condition. We are showing this poster unrestored.
