Written and directed by Asian-American Gregg Araki, this road trip to hell is deliberately trashy, satirizing decadent America's love of consumption and surface beauty. Fueled by a soundtrack of mid-90's alternative bands, this dark film offers a bleak but humorous look at the pop generation culture of its time.
