Now he must deal with the world of grown-ups -- including getting a job at a toy company, loss of innocence, friendship, and first love. The performance by Tom Hanks was brilliant and netted him his first of five nominations for Best Actor. It also elevated him from just acting in silly comedies to much better and more serious roles, making him one of the biggest stars of the 1990s. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition with bright colors and no fold separations.

The attitudes and the conversations are so realistic that the film will take you back to the late 70s. This wonderful time capsule to a bygone era has a simple plot; however, a great cast and a snappy script make this a very entertaining film. This original one sheet poster with early art by Richard Amsel is folded and in very fine plus condition. The screen servicing number is rubber stamped onto the bottom border.

Nancy Walker, who makes her film debut, is absolutely hilarious as the “Blind Date” girl. The original Broadway musical opened in 1941 and ran for 326 performances. A 1963 off-Broadway revival starred Liza Minnelli. This original style C one sheet poster by artist Jacques Kapralik is linen-backed and in fine condition. This is the story of two gigolos who vie to see which of the two is better at his profession. David Niven gives one of the funniest performances of his career, and Brando also shows his great talent as a comic performer. It is clearly reminiscent of and inspired by the films of Rock Hudson and Doris Day; indeed, the film was originally written for them and Cary Grant but eventually recast with Niven, Brando, and Jones. This original window card is in very fine condition.

Staying at the eerie Hotel Earle, Fink develops severe writer’s block. Turturro gives the performance of a lifetime as Fink, and John Goodman proves that he is a first class acting talent. BACHELOR APARTMENT (1931)
Original RKO One Sheet Poster (27×41). Fine plus condition.
Original RKO One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Lowell Sherman romantic comedy, BACHELOR APARTMENT (1931)—starring Sherman, Irene Dunne, Mae Murray, and Ivan Lebedeff. Director Sherman stars in a witty and almost farcical tale of a business executive who both pursues and avoids an army of attractive young women until he meets Miss Right (Dunne). There is a lifelike quality to the dialogue that introduces you to a world of young women struggling in New York in the early Depression years. This poster for a pre-code early sound film does stay more in the area of the suggestive rather than the out and out naughty. Made before Irene Dunne was a certifiable top billing! This one sheet poster was originally folded but has been stored flat for some time. It is in fine plus condition, with some tears in the bottom border and an Australian censor stamp. We would suggest linen backing for the poster, which MovieArt is happy to arrange if desired.
