Original AVCO Embassy Pictures Insert Poster for the Joe Dante seminal horror classic and a perennial favorite of werewolf-movie fans, THE HOWLING (1981)—starring Dee Wallace, Patrick Macnee, Dennis Dugan, and Christopher Stone. Wallace plays a TV news anchorwoman who, after being traumatized while covering a story about a serial killer, seeks comfort at a new-age spa run by a doctor played by Macnee. All the patrons of this exclusive spa turn out to be werewolves, however. No spoilers here, as this is certainly a must see for horror fans, but the film also offers some good laughs and fine special effects from the era before computers did it all. This insert poster is in very fine plus condition - never folded, colors vivid. A great design from the era. One sheet posters are around, but finding an insert poster for this title is not as easy. A great example.
