This is an original Orion Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Woody Allen comedy fantasy, ZELIG (1983) starring Allen, Mia Farrow, and Patrick Hogan. This innovative film is a fictional documentary about the life of Leonard Zelig, a man who becomes famous in the 1920s for this ability look and act like whoever is around him. Not only is it a fake documentary ("mockumentary"), but it also sustains this format throughout the entire film. Allen used special lenses to create old style newsreels from the 1920s. He also used real photo stills from the period as well as mixing real footage with his own to give a compelling allusion of authenticity. Cinematographer Gordon Willis received an Academy Award nomination of his excellent work on this wildly original project. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.
