POINT BLANK (1967) 18499
Original MGM One Sheet Poster (27×41). Very good.
This is an original MGM One Sheet Poster for the John Boorman stylish crime thriller, POINT BLANK (1967)—starring Lee Marvin and Angie Dickinson. This is a well-crafted, fast-moving film based on the theme of an individual (Marvin as a loner gunman) pitted against a large and impersonal organization. This is certainly one of Marvin’s best “tough guy” roles. The film contains high quality acting, expert directing from British director Boorman, inspiring visuals, and a haunting soundtrack. This original one sheet poster is in very good condition with some staining along center fold line and some scuff wear in the blue background area.
PLAYING GOD (1997) 19781
Original Touchstone Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41). Rolled. Double-sided. Very fine condition.
This is an original Touchstone Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Andy Wilson crime thriller, PLAYING GOD (1997)—starring David Duchovny, Timothy Hutton, and Angelina Jolie. Like Duchovny? Here's your poster! Dr. Eugene Sands (Duchovny) has lost his job as a surgeon because of his drug addition. But then he crosses paths with an infamous counterfeiter Raymond Blossom (Hutton), who hires Sands to take care of the gunshot wounds of his associates. The doctor is not only lured ever deeper into the criminal world, he also becomes entangled with his boss’s girlfriend (Jolie). With a smart and funny script, this film is simple and realistic with action scenes that are not over the top and with enough twists and turns to keep you interested throughout the thriller. The rolled original double-sided one sheet poster is in very fine condition.
PATHS OF GLORY (1958) 8651
Original Yugoslavian Poster (20×28). Very good condition.
Original Yugoslavian Poster (20x28) for the Stanley Kubrick war drama, PATHS OF GLORY (1957)—starring Kirk Douglas, Ralph Meeker, and Adolphe Menjou. This excellent film deals with the futility of war in the trenches in World War I when a unit commander in the French army (Douglas) must contend with both the mutiny of his men and the impossible decisions of glory-seeking generals. The French army considered the film an affront to their honor and prohibited exhibition in France until 1975. At only 29-years-old, Kubrick immediately established himself as a brilliant director, whether you consider the film to be one of the greatest war movies or one of the greatest anti-war movies. This original Yugoslavian poster is in very good condition.
OUTLAND (1981) 15394
Original Warner Bros. Oversized Color Still Photograph (16×20). Fine condition.
This is an original Warner Bros. Oversized Color Still Photograph (16x20) for the Peter Hyams sci-fi thriller, OUTLAND (1981)—starring Sean Connery, Peter Boyle, and Frances Sternhagen. After leaving the James Bond franchise in 1971, it was this film that started Connery on a comeback trail that culminated in his Best Supporting Actor Oscar for THE UNTOUCHABLES (1987) six years later. In this film Connery plays the role of Police Marshal William O’Niel, who is transferred to a mining outpost located on Io, one of Jupiter’s moons. He is assigned to investigate the violent deaths of miners and discovers they all died of drug overdoses. As he sets out to find the drug dealers, he finds that he is the target of hired assassins. This film had one of the best production designs of any sci-fi film, presenting the outpost mining community not as some sci-fi “utopia” but rather as a dirty, grimy, nasty, and dangerous hellhole. This original color still is in fine condition.
ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA (1984) 8217
Original Warner Bros One Sheet Poster (27×41). Unfolded. Near mint.
This is an original one sheet poster (27x41) for Sergio Leone's brilliant and epic film about growing up gangster in lower Manhattan at the turn of the century, ONE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA (1984)-- starring Robert De Niro, James Woods, Elizabeth McGovern, and Joe Pesci. One of the great performances of Robert De Niro, the film was restored to its intended length in the DVD release after Warners cut the film to essential incoherence at its original release in 1984. The picture is almost breathtaking in scope, as it ranges in time over almost sixty years. The score by Italian master Ennio Morricone remains one of the greatest film scores of all time. Based on the novel THE HOODS by Harry Grey. The poster is rolled - that is, never folded. It is in near mint condition and perfect for framing. Difficult to find now unfolded. Single sided which is characteristic of this period.
OLIVER! (1968) 19052
Original 2-Panel Subway Advance Poster (45×60). Linen-backed. Very good.
This is an original 2-Panel Subway Advance Poster (45x60) for the Carol Reed musical, OLIVER!—starring Ron Moody, Oliver Reed, and Mark Lester. The legendary story by Charles Dickens was admirably adapted as a musical for the London stage by Lionel Bart. It then became a equally big hit on Broadway and was finally adapted for film in 1968. Nominated for 11 Academy Awards, the film won Best Picture and Best Director for Reed. In addition, Onna White won a special honorary award for her outstanding choreography. The sequence for "Consider Yourself" is one of the greatest dance sequences in film history. This pre-Academy Award 2-panel advance poster was for the U.S. Premiere of the film on December 10, 1968. Any U.S. material that does not have the Oscar statuette on the poster - hence "pre-Oscar" - is very scarce. This unusually rare poster is in very good condition and is linen-backed. This is one of the best posters for this film we have ever seen.
OCEANS 11 (1960) 12484
Original Warner Bros. Window Card (14×22). Good condition.
Original Warner Bros. Window Card (14x22) for the Lewis Milestone crime comedy, OCEAN’S 11 (1960)—starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop, and Sammy Davis Jr. The plot of this film revolves around eleven friends who know each other from World War II service and plan to rob five of the biggest casinos in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve. This film is an interesting glimpse into the Rat Pack era—the era of ultimate coolness with the clubs, the Marilyn Monroe look a likes, flashy clothes, and lots (and lots) of money. Of course, there is also the legendary bad treatment of women and African-Americans. This original window card with a handwritten venue is in good condition, with extra horizontal fold lines.
NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY (1968) 19873
Original Paramount Pictures Window Card (14×22). Saul Bass artwork. Very good condition with only some minor scuffs.

The film boasts a well-written script, excellent costumes and production design, colorful cinematography, and a haunting musical score. This original window card with a modernist design is in very good condition with only some minor scuffs.
