This is an original United Artists Insert Poster (14x36) for the Ken Russell romantic drama, WOMEN IN LOVE (1969)—starring Alan Bates, Oliver Reed, Glenda Jackson, and Jennie Linden. Adapted from a novel by D. H. Lawrence, this film represents one of the best literary adaptations in modern film history. The cast is nearly magical in dissecting the lives of four intelligent and educated young people in the British industrial Midlands in the early 1920’s. Jackson who was relatively unknown at the time won her first Oscar for her magnificent performance. The film was also nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. This original insert poster is in very good condition.
