Original MGM Scene Lobby Card (11x14). Very Fine Condition
Original MGM Lobby Card (11x14) for the Clarence Brown romantic comedy, COME LIVE WITH ME (1941) starring James Stewart and Hedy Lamarr. The film title comes from the first line of a sonnet by Christopher Marlowe. Lamarr plays an Austrian refugee who has overstayed her visitor's visa, and immigration officials want to send her back to her now Nazi homeland. But she realizes that she can stay if she can get married within a week, and she proposes a "marriage of convenience" to struggling writer Stewart. Besides expert direction by Brown—the film also has a charming screenplay, an engaging supporting cast, an excellent music score by Herbert Stothart, and beautiful b&w cinematography by George Folsey. This original lobby card of the two stars is in very fine condition with only a minor smudge in the right border and an ink spot in the left border.
