Original Weiss Brothers Artclass Pictures Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the Richard Thorpe courtroom drama, CROSS EXAMINATION (1932)—starring H. B. Warner, Sally Blane, Natalie Moorhead, Edmund Breese, and Don Dillaway. This is the story of a defense attorney (Warner) who uses great skill and ingenuity in trying to save a youth charged with the murder of his father. Witness after witness offer damaging testimony, but the defense attorney’s expert cross examination ferrets out the truth and reveals the identity of the real killer in a surprise ending. This original scene lobby card is in fine plus condition, with only some creases and edge wear.

Adapted from the novel by Robin Cook, this is the story of Dr. Susan Wheeler (Bujold), who becomes very concerned when a patient of hers goes into an irreversible coma after routine surgery. On further investigation, she finds that several other young and otherwise healthy patients are going into irreversible comas. They are all being moved permanently to the mysterious Jefferson Institute. This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine condition, with only some minor toning at the fold lines.

He then devotes himself to restoring the car to mint condition. But slowly Arnie begins to change, becoming disconnected from his friends and reality in general. This classic horror movie about a “killer car” with a deadly past certainly delivers on the good scares. CHRISTINE is a wonderful, affectionately regarded film from John Carpenter. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very good condition, with only a small crease mark above the title and a little cut in the middle of the poster.

This is an original 20th Century Fox stone lithograph Six Sheet Poster (exact dimensions 79x80) for the James Tinling mystery thriller, CHARLIE CHAN IN SHANGHAI (1935)—starring Warner Oland, Irene Hervey, Jon Hall, and Russell Hicks. In this ninth film in the popular, long-running Chan series, the Chinese government calls Chan to Shanghai to investigate a murder involving an opium ring, whose leaders kidnap Charlie and attempt to have him killed. This action-packed, complex mystery is the only film in the series set in China. Although Chan films are often accused of being racist, the Chan character was just about the only positive Asian character in Hollywood films of the 1930’s, and the series was tremendously popular with the Asian-American audiences of the era. This beautiful stone lithograph six sheet poster is linen-backed and in near mint condition.

Maynard stars as cowboy Ken Crawford, who gets involved in a feud involving hidden treasure between the Mexican Vascos and the Yankee Wilsons. This stunning one sheet features a great portrait of the grimacing Maynard against a stark black backdrop. The poster had restoration to correct light edge wear, some tearing in the bottom border, crossfold separations, and a chip out of the bottom right corner. This original one sheet poster is linen-backed and in fine plus condition. A great Maynard image.

This is an original TriStar Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Paul Verhoeven erotic crime thriller, BASIC INSTINCT (1992)—starring Michael Douglas, Sharon Stone, and Jeanne Tripplehorn. Troubled detective Nick Curran (Douglas) is assigned to investigate the brutal murder of a former rock star Johnny Boz. In the course of the investigation, he meets Catherine Tramell (Stone), a very clever and manipulative crime novelist who was Boz’s girlfriend at the time of the murder. Douglas and Stone give excellent performances of the carefully crafted script by Joe Eszterhas. The film also boasts a wonderful score by Jerry Goldsmith, which received an Academy Award nomination. Originally folded, this one sheet poster is in very fine condition.

The film unfolds like s crime drama with the emphasis on investigation and the unfolding of secrets. This original Belgian poster is in very fine condition. Very pretty and a super-nice image of Widmark.
