Original 20th Century Fox One Sheet poster for the Henry Hathaway World War II drama 13 RUE MADELEINE starring James Cagney, Annabella, Richard Conte, and Frank Latimore. This is really more of an espionage film than a war movie. It was released shortly after World War II ended. Fox used locations in Boston and filmed also in Quebec to simulate the Paris location.
Suspenseful and satisfying, 13 RUE MADELEINE is a fondly remembered Cagney vehicle. The one sheet is in excellent condition, very fine plus, and is expertly linen backed. A nice example of 20th Century Fox stone lithography. Ready to frame.

Original Paramount Pictures one sheet (27×40) for the Clint Eastwood film FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS (2006) starring Ryan Philippe, Jesse Bradford, Barry Pepper, Jamie Bell, and Adam Beach. Director Eastwood created a powerful war drama focusing on six young men and their contributions to ending WWII in the battle of Iwo Jima. What happens to three of these men (one being Native American Ira Hayes) as they return to the US and are treated as heroes makes for some pretty powerful filmmaking. Eastwood simultaneously dealt with the Japanese side of the battle with another film released three months later, entitled LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA. Double-sided. Unfolded. Very fine plus condition. NOTE: The famous photograph of the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima (by photographer Joe Rosenthal) is both re-imagined and text-referenced on the poster.

Two incredibly agile, violent and married (to each other) hit people find they have been selected by different agencies to kill one another. The two megastars became an item during the filming of this glossy Hollywood exercise. Double-sided. Unfolded. Very fine plus condition. This is the advance style with an image of Angelina Jolie.
