This is an original Walt Disney Productions One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Ron Clements and John Musker animated musical classic, ALADDIN (1992)—starring the voices of Scott Weinger, Robin Williams, Linda Larkin, and Jonathan Freeman. This was the second Disney animated feature to use full rendered and textured 3-D CGI moving backgrounds in combination with the traditional hand-drawn character animation. ALADDIN was the most successful film of 1992 and was the first animated film to gross over $200 million in America. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards, and won the Oscar for Best Musical Score (Alan Menken) and Best Song (“A Whole New World”) to Menken and Tim Rice. This original rolled one sheet poster is in very good condition.

Although many critics complained that Burton was too old to play Alexander, especially in his adolescent years—Burton gave a strong performance of the charismatic king. Originally folded, this British quad poster is in fine plus condition with only some water staining in the bottom border.

For its pure sense of dread and remarkable art direction ALIEN is regarded as a great movie. Its simplicity, its cold and dark beauty, and its many iconic scenes are the chief reasons that the movie has it's many admirers. Every camera shot is gorgeous, and every camera movement is breathtaking. Director Scott’s well-honed talents of pacing and editing create an atmosphere of anxiety and fear seldom maintained in sci-fi films. The story is mesmerizing, the acting splendid throughout, and Jerry Goldsmith’s great score greatly enhances the prevailing sense of eeriness. This one sheet poster was originally folded and is near mint condition.

The film was nominated for seven Academy Awards—including a Best Actress nomination for Weaver. The film won the Oscar for Best Sound Effects and Best Visual Effects. The original one sheet poster for this film had a portrait of Weaver holding Henn in her arms, but the actress objected to the way she looked. Fox, therefore, recalled the original poster and released this new one sheet without the portrait. This original one sheet poster is rolled and in fine plus condition. We acquired our copies, a full box of 50, from Poster Emporium in 1986 when the film came out -- in a box that had been sent from Fox Pictures. This original insert poster is in fine condition. This poster has been paper-backed and presents beautifully.
