Original New Line Cinema Style D Advance One Sheet Poster of Andy Serkis (27×40) for the Peter Jackson epic fantasy, THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING (2003) starring Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortensen, Ian McKellen, Sean Astin, and Andy Serkis. In many ways this final installment in the trilogy is the most epic of the three films. It has the most beautiful visuals as well as the most computer-generated effects, 1488 as opposed to 540 in the first film and 799 in the second. It broke the international box office record for an opening weekend, bringing in nearly $250 million. It won all the Oscars for which it was nominated—including Best Picture, Best Director to Jackson, and Best Musical Score to Howard Shore. It tied BEN-HUR and TITANIC for the most Oscars won in a single year. This original double-sided style D advance one sheet poster is rolled and in very fine condition.

Original Paramount Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the John Mackenzie romantic thriller, BEYOND THE LIMIT (1983) starring Michael Caine, Richard Gere, Bob Hoskins, and Elpidia Carrillo. Originally a British film released under the title, THE HONORARY COUNSUL—the action is based on a novel by Graham Greene, which chronicles how a mild injustice can lead to catastrophic consequences for an innocent man. This original one sheet poster is folded and in near mint condition.

Original Miramax Films Advance One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Allison Anders, Alexandre Rockwell, Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin Tarantino comedy, FOUR ROOMS (1995) starring Tim Roth, Sammi Davis, Amanda De Cadenet, Madonna, David Proval, and Antonio Banderas. The film features the collaborative directorial efforts of four new filmmakers who each direct a section of the film. It’s New Year’s Eve at the Mon Signor Hotel, a former grand old Hollywood hotel, now fallen on hard times. The film chronicles the slapstick misadventures of Ted (Roth), the Bellhop. This original advance one sheet poster is double-sided and in very fine condition.

Original Summit Distribution One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Jan Troell adventure biography, THE FLIGHT OF THE EAGLE (1982) starring Max von Sydow, Sverre Anker Ousdal, Goran Stangertz, and Eva von Hanno. This is the story of a 19th Century Swedish engineer named Salomon Andree, who sets out to be the first man to find the North Pole using a hydrogen balloon called “The Eagle.” The balloon takes off with Andree and two friends from Svalbard in 1897, but the three men are never heard of again. Based on a true story, the film turns out to be one of the most psychologically terrifying films of all time. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.

Original Paramount Pictures Alternate Advance One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Mel Gibson epic biography, BRAVEHEART (1995) starring Mel Gibson, Sophie Marceau, and Patrick McGoohan. This glorious epic is the story of a commoner named William Wallace (Gibson) who unites the Scots in their quest to overthrow English rule in the 13th Century. Although the film has been criticized for being unnecessarily violent, Gibson actually went back himself and personally edited some the film’s most graphic scenes to show less violence on screen. The film was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won 5—including Best Picture, Best Director to Gibson, and Best Cinematography to John Toll. The original double-sided advance one sheet poster is rolled and in near mint condition.

This is an original Warner Brothers One Sheet Poster for the Peter Yates exciting crime-thriller, BULLITT (1968) starring Steve McQueen, Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, and Robert Duvall. In one of his best roles ever, Steve McQueen plays super-cop Frank Bullitt. The most memorable scene is the famous car chase ending with a spectacular crash into an exploding gas station. This poster is in very fine condition, expertly linen backed. This is the matte finish one sheet. This poster was produced on two different types of paper stock at the time of its release. One was a shinier stock and one was the more traditional matte stock. This is the rarer matte stock poster. Very nice indeed.
