Original Columbia Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×40) for the Robert Redford family drama, A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT (1992) starring Craig Sheffer, Brad Pitt, Tom Skerritt, and Brenda Blethyn. Based on a true short story by Norman Maclean, the film chronicles the lives of two fly-fishing sons of a Presbyterian minister (Skerritt)—one reserved (Sheffer) and the other rebellious (Pitt) in rural Montana. The film received three Academy Award nominations, including Best Original Score for Mark Isham and Best Screenplay for Richard Friedenberg. Phillippe Rousselot won the Oscar for his breathtakingly beautiful cinematography of Montana. This original one sheet poster is rolled and in near mint condition.

Original Columbia Pictures Style B 30×40 Poster for the Elliot Silverstein musical comedy western, CAT BALLOU (1965) starring Jane Fonda, Lee Marvin, Michael Callan, and Dwayne Hickman. In this hilarious parody of the western genre, the film tells the story of a woman (Fonda) who is seeking revenge for her murdered father and hires a famous but alcoholic gunfighter (Marvin). The film boasts a stunning soundtrack with Nat King Cole and Stubby Kaye strolling around and singing as minstrels. The film was nominated for five Academy Awards, and Marvin won the Oscar for Best Actor. This original style B 30×40 poster on heavy stock is rolled and in very fine condition.

Original DED Films One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Howard Ziehm adult drama, HONEY PIE (1976) staring Jennifer Wells, Al Goldstein, Bobby Astyr, Jackie St. James, and Arlana Blue. Blue plays a hapless journalist at a tabloid rag who decides to read some of the erotic letters from her readers and to fantasize about four particular sexual episodes. This original one sheet poster for this sexploitation classic is folded and in very fine condition.

Original Polish Poster (28×38) for the Leslie Norman family drama, THE SHIRLEE (1957) starring Peter Finch, Dana Wilson, Elizabeth Sellars, and George Rose. Made in Australia by Great Britain’s Ealing Studios, Finch plays a traveling salesman who returns home to find his wife having an affair with another man. Finch decides to take his daughter with him on his journeys, and she becomes his “shiralee,” the Australian aboriginal word for “burden.” This original Polish poster with artwork by Wiktor Gorker is in very fine condition.

Original Polish Poster (23×32) for the Norman Jewison romantic comedy, THE THRILL OF IT ALL (1963) starring Doris Day, James Garner, and Arlene Francis. This great screwball family comedy has a clever and witty screenplay by Carl Reiner and Larry Gelbart about a wife who gets bored with her home life and becomes a TV commercial superstar for “Happy Soap.” Her mildly chauvinistic pediatrician husband (Garner) hates her new career because it takes time away from him and the kids. This original Polish poster is in very good condition, with some foxing which could be corrected with restoration.

Original Warner Brothers Scene Lobby Card (11×14) for the Jean Negulesco romantic drama, HUMORESQUE (1946) starring Joan Crawford, John Garfield, and Oscar Levant. This film chronicles a classical musician from the slums (Garfield) who becomes infatuated with a wealthy but neurotic socialite (Crawford). Crawford gives one of the best performances of her career, and Franz Waxman’s musical score (for which he received an Academy Award nomination) adds a great deal to the dreamlike qualities of the film. This original scene lobby card is in very fine plus condition.

Original Polish Poster (27×39) for the Ingmar Bergman family drama masterpiece, FANNY AND ALEXANDER (1982) starring Pernilla Allwin, Bertil Guve, Allan Edwall, and Ewa Froling. This amazing film is a sumptuous tale of an early 20th century Swedish family, the Ekdahls—Oscar and Emilie (the parents) and Fanny and Alexander (the children). When the father dies, the mother first seeks counsel from the local bishop and eventually marries him. The children are then forced to move to the bishop’s austere and forbidding chancery. A period piece of stunning detail, the film was nominated for six Academy Awards—including Best Director and Best Screenplay for Bergman. The film won four Oscars: Best Art Direction, Best Costume Design, Best Cinematography, and Best Foreign Language Film. This original Polish poster with artwork by Wieslaw Walkuski is in very fine condition.

Original Polish Poster (26×39) for the Martin Ritt drama, NORMA RAE (1979) starring Sally Field, Beau Bridges, Ron Leibman, Pat Hingle and Barbara Baxley. One-time teen star Field won an Academy Award for her performance as a union organizer in a small Southern town, taking on “the Man” and winning workplace concessions for her fellow associates. The poster design has Norma’s face up close, cramped inside a human palm that seems to be saying “STOP!” With artwork by Romuald Socha, this original Polish poster is in very fine condition.
