This is an original Embassy Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Rob Reiner rock band parody and cult classic, THIS IS SPINAL TAP (1984)—starring Michael McKean, Christopher Guest, and Harry Shearer. Spinal Tap was the greatest Heavy Metal band that was ever made up. This hilarious mock-documentary milks every rock-band-on-tour cliché you could possibly imagine. Many later films, mostly British ones, have imitated this style ever since. As fresh today as it was when it was released 25 years ago, original posters for the film can be scarce. This one is particularly nice for it has never been folded and is in near mint condition.

This Pathe News Technicolor short shows The Beatles in concert at the ABC Cinema in Manchester on November 20, 1963. This poster is one of the rarest Beatles movie posters. Hard to get - from 1963 - before the Beatles ever came to America! The style of the poster mimics many other concert posters of the era. RARE. This original poster is in very good condition.

This is an original 20th Century Fox Half Sheet Poster (22x28) for the Edmund Goulding teen drama, TEENAGE REBEL (1956)—starring Ginger Rogers, Michael Rennie, and Betty Lou Keim. Dodie (Keim), the fifteen-year-old daughter of Rogers (in one of her last feature films), is not so much a rebel as the sad child of a divorce. She has been estranged from her mother for eight years since her parents’ divorce. But when she is finally sent to her mother so her father can secretly get married, she must learn to accept her mother and new stepfather. In all, the film is an excellent attempt to dramatize the effects of divorce on a child at a time when divorce was still unusual. This original half sheet poster is in very fine condition.

This is the story of a teenager who secretly writes and records a hit song and happens to have a millionaire father who owns a radio station. This entertaining little teen movie was primarily made to showcase some of the popular singers of the time—including Chubby Checker, Dion, Marv Johnson, and Jackie Wilson. The plot is a little corny and the dialogue is coached, but the music is lots of fun. This original three sheet poster is in very fine condition despite having been used in the theater for promotion.

Rock 'n' Roll music triumphs over uptight grownups in this 1956 film about disc jockeys, doo-wop, juvenile delinquency, and bop. The film is populated with rock 'n' roll performers of the era, including Fats Domino and the immortal Joe Turner. The quintessential fifties character-actor nerd, Sterling Holloway, makes an appearance and even the Marx Brothers' old foil Margaret Dumont is included. The poster is in fine plus condition with some fold distresses. It also has a Canadian Censor Stamp.

Squarely in the 60’s British rock ‘n romance genre (the original British title is EVERY DAY’S A HOLIDAY), the story revolves around several teenagers who take jobs at a seaside resort for the summer. TV producers show up and decide to film a talent show at the resort, and all the teens decide to compete. Feddie and the Dreamers, The Baker Twins, The Mojos, The Leroys, and The Gillian Lynne Dancers turn in some fun performances, and the excellent cinematography by a young Nicholas Roeg makes the whole film a pleasure to watch. This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine condition with only minor edge wear and small tears in the border.
