This is an original Universal Pictures Window Card (Trimmed 14x20.5) for the James Whale horror/sci-fi classic, THE INVISIBLE MAN (1933)—starring Claude Rains and Gloria Stuart. In Rains first leading role he plays a scientist who finds a way to make himself invisible, but he becomes murderously insane in the process. Considering the time in which it was made, this is one of the most amazing films of this genre with a dazzling array of special effects. As in his famous Frankenstein films, Whale also makes ample use of wicked comedy. Whale's ability to entertain is unrivaled, which is why his films for Universal were always the studio's biggest successes. This original window card is trimmed but still in fine condition with minor discoloration and surface wear .
