Original Warner Bros. Half Sheet Poster (22x28) for the Delmer Daves family drama, SPENCER'S MOUNTAIN (1963) starring Henry Fonda, Maureen O'Hara, and James MacArthur. This excellent drama is based on the autobiographical novel by Earl Hamner Jr., which also inspired the popular TV series "The Waltons." However, instead of depression-era Appalachia, the Spencers make their lives in contemporary Wyoming. Indeed, the film benefits remarkably from the breathtaking location in Grand Teton National Park. Fonda and O'Hara give wonderfully warm and sensitive performances, as does MacArthur as their oldest and gifted son, Clay Boy (John Boy in the TV show). This original half sheet poster is rolled and in very fine plus condition.
