Original Allied Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Phil Rosen early talking western, THE GAY BUCKAROO (1932) starring Hoot Gibson, Roy D'Arcy, and Merna Kennedy. In this film successful horse rancher Clint Hale (Gibson) is in love with Mildred Field (Kennedy), but she also admires the crook Dave Dumont (D'Arcy) who runs the saloon and gambling hall. Ultimately, Clint forces Dave to reveal his criminal side, leading to the inevitable ride into the sunset with sweet Mildred. Gibson was a pioneer star of silent and early talking westerns and was one of the 1920's most popular children's matinee heroes. Originally folded, this beautiful stone lithograph one sheet poster is in very fine condition with only minor edge distresses and fold separations.
