(Christopher), who comes from Chicago to spend the summer in California, where he learns about love and life in the Golden State. There is also a poignant sub plot about an over the hill surfer (Cassel) desperately trying to relive his glory days in contrast to the adolescence of the kids around him. This original style B one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.

PHIBES (1971) starring Vincent Price, Joseph Cotton, and Hugh Griffith. A doctor, scientist, organist, and Biblical scholar Dr. Anton Phibes (Price) seeks revenge on the nine doctors he considers responsible for his wife’s death. Horror all-star Price gives one of his best performances; indeed, the role rejuvenated his career in the 1970s. This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine plus condition. It does having some rubber-stamping on the back, but it doesn’t bleed through to the image side. There are minor fold distresses at the fold intersection.

Original American International Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Delbert Mann historical adventure drama, KIDNAPPED (1971) starring Michael Caine, Lawrence Douglas, Vivien Heilbron, and Trevor Howard. Loosely adapted from two novels by Robert Louis Stevenson, KIDNAPPED and its sequel CATRIONA, Jack Pullman penned a superb script with some elegantly witty dialogue. The story is set during the Jacobite Rebellion, a fruitless series of military campaigns to restore the Stuart kings to the thrones of Scotland and England, and the film’s portrayal of this political cause is both accurate and insightful. The film is also blessed with stunning cinematography of Scotland by Paul Beeson and a beautiful score by Roy Budd. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.
