Norris plays the sheriff of a small Texas town who shoots and seemingly kills a maniac who is attempting to flee arrest. But doctors secretly operate on the killer and bring him back to life, making him almost indestructible in the process. But Norris brings him down and saves the day. Although a little like “Walker, Texas Ranger” meets “Halloween,” the film is entertaining and quite suspenseful. This original one sheet poster is folded and in near mint condition.

Original Columbia Pictures Three Sheet Poster (41×81) for the Oscar Rudolph musical, DON’T KNOCK THE TWIST (1962) starring Chubby Checker, Gene Chandler, The Dovells, The Carroll Brothers, Vic Dana, Linda Scott, and Dee Dee Sharp. A harried television executive must put together an epic “Twist Spectacular” to beat a competing network and brings together some of the best pop musical talent of the day. Besides Checker’s “twist” hits, there was Linda Scott’s “Yessirree,” Vic Dana’s “Little Altar Boy,” and especially Gene Chandler’s “Duke of Earl.” Chubby Checker was the stage name of Ernest Evans. Dick Clark’s first wife, Barbara, suggested the name as a take-off on “Fats” Domino. This original three sheet poster is folded and in fine condition—with some small distresses, a small tar in the top section, and some staple holes. There are no fold separations and the color is good.

Original Columbia Pictures Scene Lobby Card (11×14) for the John Cromwell film noir thriller, DEAD RECKONING (1947) starring Humphrey Bogart, Lizabeth Scott, Morris Carnovsky, and William Prince. “Rip” Murdock (Bogart) finds himself mired in a heap of trouble when he tries to track down an old army buddy. This movie has all of the film noir ingredients: lots of shadows and sharp contrasts, flashback narrative, a femme fatale (Scott), gambling, seedy clubs, suspicion, and mounting paranoia. The film has a wonderful surprise ending and is filled throughout with sharp, witty dialogue. This original portrait lobby card of Bogart menacing Scott is in very fine condition.
