This perfect time capsule of the 1970s was one of the first feature films directed by Howard. Paula (Morgan) decides to steal her rich daddy’s Rolls-Royce and run off to Las Vegas to marry her sweetheart Sam (Howard). But they are relentlessly pursued by a spurned suitor and a cadre of goons hoping to collect the reward money offered for Paula’s return. Original New World Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Ken Russell romantic thriller, CRIMES OF PASSION (1984) starring Kathleen Turner, Anthony Perkins, Bruce Davison, and Gordon Hunt. Kathleen Turner plays a prim sportswear designer by day and a sizzling hooker named “China Blue” by night. Ken Russell, the enfant terrible of the BBC in the late sixties went on the direct many films in the 1970s including the film version of TOMMY. Kathleen Turner continued to exploit the highly charged sexual character she played so well in films like BODY DOUBLE. This one sheet is folded, but in very fine to near mint condition.

For those of you who know who Elvira is, we’ll recap it here (from wikipedia): Cassandra Peterson (born September 17, 1951) is an American actress best known for her on-screen horror hostess character Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. She gained fame on Los Angeles television station KHJ wearing a black, gothic, cleavage-enhancing gown as host of Movie Macabre, a weekly horror movie presentation. Her wickedly vampish appearance is offset by her comical character, quirky/quick-witted personality, and valley girl-type speech.

Original New World Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Charles E. Sellier Jr. crime drama, THE ANNIHILATORS (1985) starring Jim Antonio, Sid Conrad, Gerrit Graham, and Lawrence Hilton-Jacob. This is a saga of a Vietnam vet who returns home to find his neighborhood has deteriorated badly and is being terrorized by a vicious street gang. Alas, critics have savaged the production for its heavy-handed acting, totally unrealistic street gangs, and badly choreographed fight scenes. IMDB critic Justin Carapella sums it up as an “unintentionally hilarious time capsule of C-moviedom from the 80′s.” This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.

Original New World Pictures One Sheet Poster for the Koji Hashimoto and R. J. Kizer sci-fi horror classic, GODZILLA 1985: THE LEGEND IS REBORN (1984)– starring Ken Tanaka, Yasko Sawaguchi, Yosuke Natsuki, and Raymond Burr. In 1985 the screeching Godzilla made a comeback appearance to amuse the eighties kids and their doting parents. After almost a decade of failed film proposals to revive the Godzilla character, Toho finally made this film after the Godzilla-mania of 1983. Even the prolific Raymond Burr reprised his role from the original 1956 sci-fi classic. In Japan this film was known as GOJIRA. The one sheet is folded – in near mint condition. Original New World Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Lamar Card action comedy, SUPERVAN (1977) starring Mark Schneider, Katie Saylor, and Morgan Woodward. This film is like a 70s’ time capsule made on a modest budget about a spacey solar-powered futuristic “supervan” equipped with lasers. Complete with a totally gratuitous wet t-shirt contest, this film boasts a soundtrack of the period’s soft rock songs about vans and “van culture.” The high point of the film is when German American writer Charles Bukowski wanders drunkenly through a party scene wearing a t-shirt that says “Water Boy for the Wet T-shirt Contest.” This is a folded one sheet in fine plus condition. Minor wear.

Original New World Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Jack Hill exploitation drama, THE BIG DOLL HOUSE (1971)– starring Judith M. Brown, Roberta Collins, and Pam Grier. This film was one of the most interesting and certainly one of the most influential of the “women-in-prison” genre. It certainly has enough exploitation– including random drug use, sadistic torture, sexual antics, gunfights, catfights, and mud wrestling. But besides the exploitation, the strength and determination of the women is also represented. Despite its meager budget, the film has surprisingly solid production qualities, including a saucy score by Hall Daniels and excellent camera work with an exacting eye for detail. THE BIG DOLL HOUSE also kicked off the short lived but legendary “made-in-the-Philippines-but-set-in-some-nameless-Banana-Republic” cycle. This original one sheet poster is in very good condition. The poster is slightly trimmed in the border area.

Original New World Pictures One Sheet Poster (27×41) for the Joseph Zito horror thriller, FRIDAY THE 13th:THE FINAL CHAPTER (1984)– starring Kimberly Beck, Erich Anderson, and Corey Feldman. This was the fourth installment in the popular horror series, but it was not the final chapter. Combining clips from the previous three films, Part 4 explains the whole series briefly in the opening sequence. The film follows the same basic formula as the other films in the series, although the directing is better than the earlier films and the writers get more creative in scaring and killing the teen victims. There is a high body count by the end of the movie, and the nudity and sex are as gratuitous as ever. This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine condition.

This exquisite film tells the story of a year in the life of a small Italian coastal town in the 1930′s. The town in the film is based on Rimini, where Fellini grew up. This incredible life journey is filled with indelible and magical images all complemented beautifully by the original music of Nino Rota. This outstanding movie won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. This original one sheet poster is in fine condition.
