The film appears to be a very stylish realization of a nightmare; although, it is shot like a film-noir with Arquette as the femme fatale. Some have dismissed LOST HIGHWAY as just a movie about schizophrenia, while others have searched for deeper and hidden meanings. Released in the U.S. under the title, THE KINGDOM, this bizarre series takes place in the most technologically advanced hospital in Denmark. However, a rash of uncanny occurrences has the staff questioning their faith in science. Trier, often compared with the American director David Lynch, founded the modern Danish “dogma” style with its grainy colors, rash use of camera movement and editing, and quirky acting styles. This original rolled one sheet poster is in very fine plus condition.
